The Old Apartment
This is my catch-all Cincinnati blog post. Prior to moving to New York in 1999, I lived and worked in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was a board member of the Downtown Resident's Council, where I met Jim Moll, who is quoted in today's New York Time's article about Over-The-Rhine.
Plus, I sent a letter to the editor of CityBeat Magazine which is kinda like the Village Voice of Cincinnati.
I was a volunteer at the Contemporary Arts Center before its move into the Zaha Hadid-designed building. While I was a voolunteer, I got to see wonderful exhibitions by talented artists like Louise Bourgeois, Michael Ray Charles, Kara Walker and John Waters. I also interned at Enjoy The Arts/START and the director Lisa Mullins still kids me about the navy blue scarf with a golf motif that I bought from Talbots that I wore when I went on job interviews.
